Reflection
- (1Ti 3:14 ESV) I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that,
- (1Ti 3:15 ESV) if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.
- (1Ti 3:16 ESV) Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
Discussion
Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus who existed eternally was manifested in flesh. He became like us to pay for our sins and redeem us to Himself. In His death and resurrection we find our salvation forever. This truth was attended by angels and is proclaimed among the nations by His people so that men and women may come to believe in Him.
