Sunday Notes: James 5:1-8

    • This is the idea of not taking care of those who did work for them
      • In the OT times this would have been a day laborer not being paid for their work
      • In our time it might be less that we see that type of arrangement
        • But as the people of God we are to be ____________ in how to treat others.
    • There is a progression in the text here
      • That we first ____________ wealth for ourselves
        • Not being generous with it to others
      • Then we ____________ that wealth to lavish ourselves with an indulgent life
        • Not trying to share with others
