Peace is something we still long for today. At times in the world we have found peace, but not the true and lasting peace that God will bring. During the time of the Romans there was peace in the sense that war had largely ended, but it was still a time of much conflict. The Herods ruled the Jews, but all of that was under the thumb of the Roman Empire that brought peace with the bloody tip of a sword. Where is the plan of God in all of this and why?
