This week we look at the specific creation of man on day 6 of the creation account. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were made by God according to the plan and purpose God had in creation. Though sin has corrupted all of creation, mankind is still made in the image of God according to the plan of God.
(Gen 1:26 ESV) Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
(Gen 1:27 ESV) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
